Hey There
I'm Claire and I absolutely love movement! I love teaching movement in a yoga class and helping people get out of pain through Optimal Movement practises. I love to weight train, mountain bike, ski and paddle board and hope to do so for a long time to come.

I believe we can regain strength and mobility at any age and that our age, injuries, or repetitive moments should not keep us from the activities we love.

About Me
Yoga Teacher
To me, yoga is the ultimate way to express our individuality and bring out the unique spark in each of us. I’ve been teaching yoga since 2008, and my passion for it just keeps growing. After my 200-hour training, I dove deeper, studying with the incredible Rod Stryker. Over the next 10 years, I earned my certification in his Master Yoga Teacher Training, and I still practice and learn from him to this day.

You will notice my yoga classes are a bit different and combine movement therapy techniques with traditional yoga poses. My goal is to teach you how to be aware of how your body moves and feels and reacts to the changing positions or holds and finding stillness. I teach you how to use your breath to turn inward and listen, not just to your body, but to your true self, finding your strength and peace.

Yoga Therapist (Optimal Movement)
I am currently training at the Internationally Accredited Yoga Therapy school (IAYT) with the amazing Susi Hately, and let me tell you—it’s transforming my life! I've kicked my own pain to the curb, gotten stronger than ever, and jumped back into activities I had put aside, like running and weight training.
Outdoor Enthusiast
When I’m not on the mat, you’ll find me outdoors—hiking, paddle boarding, weight training, or mountain biking. I’m a nature addict, and there’s nothing I love more than being by the river. My family, friends, and my dog Cruz mean the world to me, and I’m always up for an adventure!

"I came to a dead end when I was sort of told, well, you’ve got pain in your spine from arthritis and when the pain gets bad we’ll just give you some cortisone shots. And I just couldn’t accept that." - Claire
